Building Bright Futures Grant

We are a recipient of the 2025 Vermont Early Childhood Fund Opportunity Grant from Building Bright Futures! This funding will help us access resources to support our home-based services and groups for children and parents in our community.
Our goals:
Goal 1: Increase the availability of quality home visiting to at risk families and families expressing need with their young children to prevent the development of child behavioral,
emotional, and mental health conditions.
Goal 2: Increase the availability of and participation in behavioral parent coaching to families experiencing challenges with child behavioral, emotional, or mental health conditions.
Goal 3: Increase the availability of parent support groups for new parents and parents of children under 6.
Goal 4: Increase parental self-efficacy and competence in parenting.
Thus far, we have utilized this grant funding for:
- Clinician facilitation of support groups for parents
- Childcare services for children during parenting support groups
- Materials and activities to be utilized during groups and by family home support specialists
- Administrative materials to enhance our group space
- Parenting books that align with our groups
